These are all-optical switches that employ a proprietary, micro-miniature mirror-based mechanism. Switching action is controlled by rotating the mirror whose rotation is controlled electronically. It stands high physical shock and vibration and is exceptionally reliable. Installation is truly plug and play with no configuration required to match the data to the switch.
